Now I'm Ticked OffFor a reason I do not know our local HEB store has decided that $74 worth of gas is as much as you can get in one sitting. That should not be an issue though for your average consumer. Except that gas is now 3.79 (and 9/10 of a cent) a gallon. I will admit I took my gas can for my lawn mower to fill it also, but I had to make two transactions to fill up my truck and the two gallon gas can. Observe the receipts below.
Just what exactly is happening that I am going to have to start making two transactions every time I have to fill my truck up when it is not to the point of the little "empty fuel tank" light coming on. Yes I have a 25 gallon tank on my truck, but most full-size truck owners do. And they say the price of gas is going to get even higher. What is HEB going to do when even smaller vehicles start having to make two transactions? I know two transactions is probably not what HEB intended. The little sign says you must go to the attendant and ask for more gas and they will let you have some more. I don't intend to beg for gas. I am paying hansomly for it already. Beth Ann and I looked at bicycles yesterday. I might just have to start riding a bicycle to work. At least I'm getting HEB points. |
